West Memphis, AR, 2021

We are on our way to Texas and stopped for a couple of nights at Tom Sawyer RV Park.  Our back yard was the Mississippi River.

In 2011 they got flooded and marked the buildings to show how high the water rose.  Incredible.

That led us to ask are these observation towers or flood rescue towers. There were several throughout the park.

The Kentucky Horse Park, Oct. 21, 2021

Today we visited the Kentucky Horse Park, beautiful grounds and lots of champion horses.

This was amazing horse!  She fought in the Korean War and carried ammunition up the mountain 35 miles and then brought the wounded down.

The Ark Encounter, Oct. 20, 2021

Day 1, we had a very nice visit with Bob and Vicki, friends of  Kit and Joni from Oregon.

Day 2, we went to the Ark Encounter.  It was amazing to see how big the Ark would've been. 510 feet long, 85 feet wide and 51 feet high. Enough room to carry over 7,000 animals in appropriate sized cages.  The feeding and clean up were engineered to minimize labor and maximize efficiency. It is believed to be the largest wooden structure in the world.

Nashville, TN 2021

We stayed at the Grand Ole RV Park and they had music every night, which was good, because the shows in Nashville were either booked or too expensive.

We went to Madame Tussauds wax museum to see the stars in wax, lol. Then to Paula Deen's restaurant for dinner.
