On Tuesday, October 20, we went to the Henry Ford Museum. This was a place on Graham's bucket list as he loves the show Innovation Nation. Greenfield Village was closed so we'll have to come back at some point to see it. Here are some pictures from the museum.
Trains:
Presidential cars:
Evolution of kitchens (a little out of order)
A farming combine
War of the worlds exhibit.
How to protect yourself in the classroom.
This was a ride where you stepped inside the airplane and you got to see what it felt like as the picture in front took you on a little trip.
This was the first plane to land in Antartica, although there was controversy over whether or not they really made it.
Lots of cars:
No traditional steering wheel
Camping anyone?
This was a dining car on display. It normally would be open to serve, but closed due to COVID
Replica of the Wright Brothers plane. Skywalkers
George Washington's bed. It could fold up and fit into the chest at the head of the bed. Chair Abraham Lincoln was shot in. Still has the blood stains. Bus Rosa Parks sat in.

Old time planer. It could plane logs 18' in length, but wasted a lot of wood. How a Model T is put together.
Industrial changes:
Furniture changes
Evolution of the steam engine.
